Burj Al Alam

Burj Al Alam, also referred to as 'The World Tower', is being built as one of the commercial towers in Dubai Business Bay, located on Sheikh Zayed Road next to Burj Dubai Downtown. The tower was designed by Japanese architects Nihon Sekkei Inc, and was originally named Fortune 101 and was to be located in Dubai Marina.
The 108-storey crystal flower shaped tower will rise 484 meter (1,588 feet) high, making it the world's tallest commercial tower. Burj Al Alam is a AED 4 billion (US$ 1.1 billion) skyscraper that will have retail shops filling its base floors and then 74 floors of offices, with a total of 1 million square feet (92.9 thousand square meters) of office space. The tower will also contain 27 floors filled with hotel rooms and serviced apartments, while the top of the tower will have a 6-storey crown, resembling the opening of a flower's petals, with a sky garden, club facilities, and a roof-top Turkish bath/spa. Amlak Finance PJSC will provide a 90% finance over a maximum period of 25 years.
